Carly Cordell Bio
Carly Cordell serves as Oklahoma’s Deputy Secretary of Energy & Environment in the Office of the Secretary of Energy & Environment. She has served in a few different roles for the Office of Secretary of Energy & Environment including, Legislative Liaison, Deputy Secretary of Environment as well as her current position. She has been with the Secretary of Energy & Environment since July 2012. In this role, she advises the Governor and Secretary of Energy & Environment on issues and policies related to energy and environment. Carly helps provide oversight to the over 30 energy and environment state agencies, boards, compacts and commissions.
Carly is a native of Garber, Oklahoma and served as the State FFA Reporter for the Oklahoma FFA Association. She received a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Oklahoma State University in 2012 where she was named one of ten Outstanding Seniors. Carly currently serves on the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation Board of Directors and the Housing Corporation and Executive Team for the Chi Omega House at Oklahoma State University.
