OKLAHOMA BUILDING CODES
The Oklahoma SEO works in partnership with the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission, the designated state body with a mission to establish minimum statewide codes affecting or relating to the built environment for the protection of life and property. Oklahoma is a Home Rule state, leaving the adoption of specific code levels to individual local jurisdictions as they see fit. This includes the portion of building codes pertaining to energy efficiency.
